At Scotland's Motorhome Store we make every effort to make your shopping online as easy and carefree as possible, we must apply the following terms and conditions, in order to protect both the customer and the company.

www.scotlandsmotorhomestore.com is owned by Ava’s Motorhome Hire (referred to as “The Shop/we/our/us”). As a user of this website (referred to as “you/your”) you acknowledge that any use of this website including any transactions you make (“use/using”) is subject to our terms and conditions below.

General

• We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will take effect immediately and it is your responsibility to read them before placing an order.

Product and Delivery Process

• We reserve the right to refuse any order. You will be informed by e-mail and a full refund given.

• Delivery of the goods - all Goods, wherever possible, will be delivered within 3-5 days of the order being placed and the Buyer shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery. 

• If you would like to be able to track your order, please ensure you select a tracked delivery method (e.g. Courier Delivery).  Your order will be delivered by courier if requested and we will notify you by e-mail when it is with the courier. A signature will be required and if no one is available our couriers will leave a card. You can arrange for another delivery or collect from their depot. If you do not arrange re-delivery within a week the parcel will be returned to us and there will be another charge for it to be sent out again.

• Some Goods may not be in stock at the time the order is placed. In the event that the Seller is unable to deliver the Goods within the time specified above, the Seller will contact the Buyer to advise of the situation and the Buyer shall be entitled to cancel the order and receive a full refund or agree a later delivery date.

• All items on our website are stock items but if an item is out of stock, we will inform you by e-mail. You will then have the option to cancel the order or wait for the item to arrive.

• Please note colours or makes of items may differ from those shown unless stated in the product title.

• All sizes and measurements are approximate but we do try to be as accurate as possible.

• Severe weather conditions can add a number of days on to estimated delivery times.

• We will not accept any liability for delay or failure to deliver goods within estimated timescales.

Payment

• Payment for your order is by debit or credit card and paypal only.

• Full payment must be received before any goods are dispatched.

• The price you pay is the price displayed on the website at the time of ordering plus any relevant carriage costs. The cost of carriage will be added to your order in the shopping basket. If we discover an error in the price of goods we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the new price or cancelling it.

• Title to any products you order on this website will pass to you on delivery provided full payment has been received.

 

Returns and Cancellations

• We offer a money back guarantee on unwanted goods returned within 14 days of purchase. Items will not be accepted back if the product packaging has been opened or not in state a to re-sell. Please see the delivery and returns page for details of how to return items.

• We aim to process refunds quickly but please allow up to 14 days (from the time that an item is received back to us) for a refund to processed

• In the unlikely event that you receive faulty, damaged or incorrect goods please contact us immediately and we will arrange for a replacement to be sent, once the item has been returned.

• Gas appliances may not be returned once any packaging has been opened.

• Warranties for gas appliances will only be valid if installed by a qualified gas engineer.

• A restocking charge may be applied to goods returned after 14 days.

• Warranties for Spare parts for electrical, water, waste, solar will only be valid if installed by a qualified fitter.

• Your details will NOT be passed on to anyone else.

• Your details will only be used in connection with your order.

• We will send you very occasional sales e-mails if you have requested to receive them.

• Passwords are stored in an encrypted format so no one other than you can view them.

 

Liability

• Neither party shall be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, breakdown of plant or machinery or shortage or unavailability of raw materials from a natural source of supply, and the party shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations.

UK Delivery Charges

• A delivery charge is made dependent on the weight and size of the product. Most of the items will fall into the smaller postage charge of £3.95  but heavier items will be £5.95.  We have tried to keep the delivery charges as low as possible.

• At the moment we only deliver to Mainland UK. Hopefully this will be updated in time.

• Larger items are send using a courier service and a signature will be required.
